- 500+ high resolution digital images in .jpg format, colour and black and white.
- 1 roll of 35mm film, approximately 30 images.
8 hours is ideal for a single location, or a day without an early getting-ready start or later reception coverage.
10 hours is my most popular option, allowing extra breathing room for multiple locations, a relaxed getting-ready block, and a bit more reception coverage.
Every package includes calm, present and organised coverage on the day, backed by thoughtful photography planning beforehand and seamless communication with your other vendors. Your images arrive within 2–8 weeks in a password-protected online gallery, complete with guest access and a print store. A 25% deposit secures your date, with instalment options available for the balance. GST and travel expenses are included.

FILM FAQ
WHY CHOOSE FILM?
Film is for couples who know exactly what they want: their day, captured entirely on film. My service offers the reliability and precision of digital, with the feeling and emotion only authentic film can give. Every frame is intentional, which is what makes the day feel calmer to live through, and the images feel real. It's a physical keepsake too - one that won't date with the next editing trend, and can be handed down for generations.
WHAT DO WE ACTUALLY GET WITH FILM, AND HOW MANY PHOTOS?
You'll get 500+ 35mm film photographs, plus a 2-3 minute Super 8 highlight film if you choose that option. Everything is delivered as a private online gallery you can download, share, and order prints from.
IS THERE A DIGITAL SAFETY NET FOR THE KEY MOMENTS (VOWS, FIRST KISS, RINGS)?
When I shoot film, I always carry multiple professional grade cameras. This means there is immediate redundancy should one fail. The cameras I use are not small point and shoot cameras, they are heavy duty professional 35mm cameras. I carry one digital camera on me in case my multiple film cameras fail, but will not use it unless every other film camera has malfunctioned (extremely unlikely.)
WILL FILM KEEP UP WITH FAST-MOVING MOMENTS (LIKE THE RECEPTION DANCE FLOOR)?
Yes. The professional grade film cameras I use are able to catch high speed motion as well as digital. They are able to shoot 10 film photos per second. The reason I am able to offer full analogue coverage is my confidence in my equipment, carefully planned processes, and my abilities.
HAVE YOU EVER HAD FILM FAIL, AND HOW DO YOU PREVENT IT?
I've never had a batch of film fail. I plan for and run redundancy for exactly that reason, including having a second body as backup, plus tested stock, trusted labs, weather tight storage, film stock rotation on the day. All my risk mitigation strategies ensure as best as possible that there is no film failure.
HOW LONG UNTIL WE SEE ANYTHING?
Turnaround is 2-8 weeks, however, usually shorter.
WHAT QUALITY ARE THE FILM PHOTOS, AND HOW BIG CAN WE PRINT THEM?
Film resolves beautifully at large sizes. You can comfortably print large images without loss in clarity or quality. On average, each film photo scan is 5-8MB.
WHAT IF WE DON'T LOVE THE "LOOK" OF FILM - GRAIN, COLOR, SHARPNESS?
That look is exactly why couples choose it, it's timeless rather than trendy. If you prefer extremely accurate, crisp, more digital images, then you will prefer digital.
DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS?
The professional labs that I send the film to carefully develops and scans every image.
WHERE IS THE FILM DEVELOPED/SCANNED, AND COULD IT GET LOST?
I use a trusted professional lab I've worked with for years, with a tracked handling process. Loss is extremely rare, and I build safeguards in regardless. For example, I cannot guarantee that an Australia Post truck doesn't burst into flames. But I can guarantee that your film will be packaged and sent in the highest quality way.
HOW MUCH EDITING/COLOR CONTROL DO YOU HAVE WITH FILM VS DIGITAL?
Less than digital, by design. Film's colour and tone come largely from the stock and development process, which is part of its charm. There is minimal to no digital manipulation or interference on the images.
CAN WE GET THE FILM NEGATIVES, AND WHY WOULD WE WANT THEM?
Yes. They're the true original archive of your day, and can be reprinted decades from now regardless of technology changes.
DO YOU NEED SPECIAL LIGHTING CONDITIONS FOR FILM TO WORK WELL?
No. I choose stock and settings to suit the venue and light, so it works across all conditions.
DOES THE SUPER 8 HAVE LIVE AUDIO?
No. Super 8 video is a silent, cinematic format by nature; it's paired with music rather than live sound.
HOW DOES THE SUPER 8 VIDEO WORK, AND HOW IS IT DELIVERED?
It's shot on real Super 8 film alongside your photos, developed and scanned, then edited into a short highlight film delivered digitally with your gallery. It is made from short video snippets shot from across the day.
CAN WE STILL HAVE YOU SHOOT DIGITAL?
Yes, I offer my Digital + Film option for couples who want primarily digital with a small amount of film mixed in.
